My journey began 15 years ago as a freelance web designer, which evolved into an IT support role when I noticed a gap in the market: most IT services were tailored for large corporations, leaving my small business clients feeling underserved and overwhelmed. I witnessed their struggles with bulky, one-size-fits-all IT solutions that didn’t meet their unique needs. Rather than accept this status quo, I saw an opportunity to help.
Then, like many of you, 2020 brought unforeseen challenges that tested the resilience of both my clients and my own business. As the world shifted, many of my clients found it difficult to sustain their operations amidst sudden disruptions. Watching most of them either close down or scale back operations was a tough blow for my business, compelling me to adapt in order to survive.
That’s when I transitioned to the corporate world and became a top-tier support agent at a Fortune 5 healthcare organization, supporting over 35,000 newly remote users (and their overseas contractors). I witnessed firsthand what worked, missed opportunities, inefficient and cumbersome processes that slowed progress, wasted money, frustrated end users, and created avoidable security concerns.
There had to be a better way.
I founded Remote Desk One to merge the flexibility of small business services with the robustness of enterprise support. My mission is simple: to empower small businesses, entrepreneurs, and remote teams with IT services tailored to their unique needs. By focusing on accessibility, transparency, and efficiency, I strive to help your business thrive in a constantly evolving digital landscape.
